ACES DEUCE PRODUCTIONS COMPLETES PILOT EPISODE OF BOSTON-BASED ENVIRONMENTAL THRILLER, "LIFE WITHOUT GREEN"!

World Premiere Screening Slated for 2009 New York Television Festival

BOSTON, MA -- "The West Wing" meets "Rescue Me" by way of "Vanished" in "Life Without Green" - a political drama about a young Jewish woman's struggle to keep her unraveling life together after her fiancée vanishes in a haze of suspicion. Environmental politics clash with the gambling underworld in this new environmental television drama by the Boston-based company, Aces Deuce Productions.

"It's incredibly exciting to launch this new show in these challenging environmental times," says Creator/Writer, Adam W. Roberts. "We're particularly excited to set and film this whole series here in Boston," adds the Cambridge resident. "There's no scripted series on television tackling environmental issues in such an original and compelling way," says Executive Producer and star Abby Phon. "Adam's story and characters are incredibly timely, funny, and well-written. Every network will want this."

Rachel Singer is Boston's newly-appointed Director of the Office for Economic and Environmental Innovation - the Mayor's highly controversial pet project to bring economic policy and environmental activism under one roof. On the eve of her office's launch, Rachel's soon-to-be-fiancée, Benjamin "Benji" Green, vanishes without warning, leaving only a cryptic email to explain his reasons and possible whereabouts. Despite this revelation, Rachel has no choice but to go forward with the launch, leading to a disastrous press conference that sets her rising career into an unexpected tailspin.

Directed by Ishai Setton of the independent cult film, The Big Bad Swim, the pilot episode of "Life Without Green" will have its world premiere screening at The New York Television Festival in New York City, September 2009.
